Soloist HyunA shares her rookie days and admit that she's curious about NewJeans' health condition
For celebrating her 16th year of debut, soloist HyunA chose to appear in Cosmopolitan magazine which was released on February 23rd. Not just a photoshoot, HyunA also took the time to take part in an interview session.
In the interview, HyunA admit that she recently often listening to NewJeans' songs. That moment also reminds her to her debut days, where she had to struggle and couldn't even enjoy a lot of food because she had to wear a crop top.
HyunA's story when she debuted 16 years ago
Based on Cosmopolitan, HyunA admitted that she was very grateful to be able to continue her career in the entertainment industry until now. During her debut, HyunA admitted that she was not alone because her fans always supported her.
"Today is my 16th debut anniversary. I think I'm not alone, and I learned how to deal with things like that with my fans for the past 16 years," said HyunA quoted via Cosmopolitan on Thursday, February 23.
"There are things I love and hate, and also happy and sad memories, but I'm the one who makes them all. We have to accept that there are good and bad things in life. After making a hit, it's burdensome to make another one. I think after a successful song, there will be a failure but success will come again. That's how I protect myself. That way, my family and fans won't collapse."
Delivering a message to HyunA — who debuted at the age of 15 to celebrate her 16th anniversary, the songstress said, "I want to tell them to eat well."
HyunA's worried about NewJeans
Currently, NewJeans' songs are number one on the Korean charts. And currently, NewJeans is a rookie group that has successfully attracted attention. HyunA even admits that she often listens to their songs. Looking at NewJeans, reminds HyunA with her debut days. She experienced many many difficulties to get to the top of her career..
"I've been listening to NewJeans' songs a lot lately. Looking T them, I wonder if they are eating well. I'm afraid they won't be able to eat enough because they have to wear crop tops. I wonder if they have time to sleep because I didn't sleep well during my debut days."
"The girls reminds me of when I was young that's why I worried about them. NewJeans members, I hope you eats lots of Korean foods and take vitamins. I hope you always have someone by your side to cheer you on."
Meanwhile, HyunA debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007 but later left the group in the same year. She debuted back with 4Minutes in 2009 and is currently active as a solo artist. Last year, HyunA announced her break up with Dawn, whom she had been dating for a long time. However, the rumors of their recent reunion have recently resurfaced but the songstress hadn't released any stance regarding that.
